After our lives were put on hold and the whole world community was impacted by the pandemic outbreak for these last few years, Melanie said, “Everybody’s dreams were put on hold, but none of us knew for how long!”
I had just completed working on the album for the best part of two years and only just announced the launch, when the world stopped for all of us.
Now, we are finally ready to say we are back, ready to take to the stage and have some fun bringing music to everyone once again.
Time to dust off your dancing shoes and have some fun, laughter and singing when we hear Melanie share with us about her dreams, traveling the world and relating her life experiences to all of us having dreams of our own.
Melanie will perform songs from the stunning selection of music from her double album, drawn from her vast repertoire during her stage career around the world stemming from Opera to Broadway, to some of the greatest hits of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s including Disco Inferno, Motown, fabulous Abba, Barry Manilow, Linda Ronstadt, Mamas & the Papas, Liza Minnelli, Burt Bacharach, hit songs from the Broadway musicals, Dream Girls, Sound of Music, Camelot and even Puccini gets a look in, plus great showstoppers from A Star Is Born & The Greatest Showman!

Townsville Civic Theatre
What can one say but Wow! From Melanie delivering a fabulous performance which included professional musicians from Sydney and locally on the night that accompanied her for this incredible show. A big thank you! The show was brought to the theatre by the Townsville Civic Council to mark huge end of year celebrations for the patrons to enjoy before a massive fireworks display in the park. The audience came from far and wide with Melanie’s fans travelling from Victoria, Sydney, regional towns and those of the local Townsville surrounds who were all shouting for more at the end with comments ranging from wonderful” “extraordinary”, “fantastic voice”, “fabulous songs” “band was sensational!” What a great show!…
